Frequently Asked

What makes Experience Coaching different from therapy or traditional coaching?

Experience Coaching is not therapy, performance coaching, or behavioural coaching.
It is a state-based approach that helps you work with your inner experience—your perceptions, reactions, patterns, and sense of self—so you can meet life with clarity, acceptance, and authenticity. It focuses on transformation from the inside out, rather than fixing external circumstances.

Do I need to have read the book Experience before starting coaching?

No, it’s not required—but it is strongly recommended.
The book lays the foundation for the concepts we work with (the carriage, the horse, the driver, the passenger, resistance vs acceptance, etc.). Reading it—or even attempting to—greatly enhances your progress in coaching.

What can I expect in a typical coaching session?

Each session is a guided conversation designed to help you recognise your inner patterns, understand your resistance, and align more fully with your Higher Self.
Sessions may include reflection, perspective shifting, practical exercises, and personalised inner practices you can apply between sessions. It is calm, compassionate, and deeply insight-driven.

How do I know which coaching package is right for me?

If you’re new or seeking clarity, the 4-Week Alignment Intensive is ideal.
If you want deeper change, choose the 8-Week Transformational Journey.
If you’re ready for profound inner work and long-term integration, the 12-Week Deep Experience Program is the best option.
You can also book a free 1:1 session to discuss which path fits your needs.

Is Experience Coaching religious or tied to a specific faith?

Experience Coaching is spiritually grounded but not religious.
It draws on universal principles found across wisdom traditions, including the concept of fitra (our original nature).
People of all faiths—or none—have benefited from this work. It is about connection, consciousness, inner alignment, and authentic living.

Full Professional Journey

Mughammad Fa-ique Fakier

Bsc. Actuarial Sci., Bcom (Hons) Fin. Planning, Mcom. Business Management

My strengths lie in analytical thinking, disciplined problem-solving, and a strong grasp of business dynamics, balanced with genuine compassion, emotional intelligence, and a deep concern for the wellbeing of others. I value precision and high ethical standards in my work, yet remain open, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that we are always capable of more together than we are alone. I strive to live a balanced and meaningful life — one that embraces wide-ranging experiences — which has taught me the importance of disciplined time management and intentional living.

My career, like most, began as a pursuit of personal goals. I followed the path presented as most practical and promising: first learning to sell, to persuade, and to serve clients within the Financial Services Industry. As a Senior Financial Advisor with Sage Financial, Momentum, and later Liberty Life, I gained a strong foundation in client engagement, financial planning, and relationship management. In 2007, I stepped into entrepreneurship, building an independent brokerage and later an Old Mutual Franchise. This experience gave me the opportunity to lead and develop a team of ambitious individuals — but more importantly, it showed me that the greatest fulfilment in my work came not from the business outcomes, but from serving others.

In 2012, I moved into a new chapter as a Portfolio Manager at Guardrisk Life, a subsidiary of Alexander Forbes at the time. Managing a diverse portfolio of corporate clients placed me at the intersection of technical problem-solving, relationship diplomacy, and strategic guidance. It taught me the delicate craft of balancing the needs of clients with the operational realities of internal teams — and the essential role of trust, clarity, and connection in making any system function well. These years deepened my interest in leadership, team culture, and the human dynamics at the core of all business.

My professional life expanded significantly when I joined the Schuitema Human Excellence Group as a Human Excellence Consultant. This work — coaching leaders, facilitating groups, developing teams, and helping organizations transform — was one of the greatest privileges of my career. I witnessed first-hand how people can shift when intention changes, when contribution becomes the focus, and when genuine care is restored to the center of relationships. Through face-to-face and virtual interventions across multiple industries, I supported leaders and teams in overcoming real human challenges: mistrust, misalignment, fear, disconnection, stagnation, and fragmentation. Guiding them toward collaboration, mutual accountability, and shared purpose remains one of the profound honors of my life.

Across organizations, I immersed myself deeply — building authentic connections with remarkable people at every level. I helped teams shift their focus from “What can I get?” to “What can I give?”; from self-interest to service; from control to willingness. I encouraged individuals to hold one another accountable with care, to cultivate trust, and to awaken their inherent potential. These moments of transformation — when people rediscovered their best selves and reconnected with one another — became the highlight of my professional journey.

This work shaped me. It taught me that excellence begins within, and that the true measure of impact is not what we achieve alone, but what we elevate in others.
